Language immersion
PRESCHOOL
To develop a strong foundation for students, instruction, and curriculum in our preschool classes are delivered entirely in French.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
As students progress to higher grades, they spend increasingly more time with English teachers: 12% of their time in Kindergarten (45 minutes per day 4 times a week), and 25% of their time in the elementary school ( 2 hours a day 4 days a week).
NO FRENCH KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED for students entering preschool.
Some knowledge is preferred for kindergarten, but no worries, we can help your child reach the required level.
A test will be administered before acceptance in the elementary school so we can help your child progress better.
You do not need to speak French at home to enroll your child in the French International School of Raleigh.
The Federated US FLAM
We are a member of the Federated US FLAM, a prestigious organization that supports and promotes the French language and culture in the United States.
Through our partnership with the Federated US FLAM, we are able to offer our students a truly exceptional education that combines French language instruction with a rich cultural experience.
We are committed to working with the Federated US FLAM to provide our students with the best possible education in French language and culture.
The AEFE
We are accredited by the French National Education system.
Accreditation serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence, and we diligently adhere to ALL guidelines set forth by the French educational authorities, as outlined in the relevant documents.
This includes compliance with prescribed content (curriculum), the organizational and managerial aspects of the school, teacher recruitment procedures, and more
